Jetty Flotsam

The severe winds & sea state on Wednesday caused some of the scaffolding boards to become dislodged.  The timber was not part of the jetty repairs.  The retaining clips on the scaffolding were unable to prevent some of the boards becoming dislodged in the sea state present yesterday.  With help from the harbour master the boards were recovered.  

Parking layout

All the changes proposed to the parking layout have now been completed.  This includes the yellow lines & white Ts.  There are no other changes planned at this time.  

Jetty works

Work begins on the jetty Monday morning.  Raymond Brown will start bringing in material and site equipment.    The scaffolding will be erected on Tuesday to coincide with the spring tide.   To make the best use of the low water;  work will be between the hours of 07:00 and. 19:00.
