INFORMATION SHEET FOR MEMBERSHIP OF PCEL

1.   All lease holders with a long lease are eligible to become members of PCEL. The membership fee for all new members will be £500. Prospective members will firstly need to be approved by the Directors of PCEL and then secondly to be approved at the AGM following purchase of the lease. 

2. New members would not be eligible for disbursements until the year after the completion of the purchase of the commercial lease extension.

3.    Membership ceases on the sale of a flat.

1. Lease extensions can be purchased from PCEL upon application through Napier.

2. Nathan Hall BSc, MRICS, Head of General Practice at Kempton Carr Croft, as surveyors, have agreed to act in this matter.

3. A ‘ball park figure’ for a lease extension would be between £4,000 and £6,000, depending on the value of the flat.

4. If any owner wishes to go ahead and purchase a lease extension, please get in touch with Mr Hall on 01628 582713 or mobile 07843663993, who will then carry out an independent inspection and write a report to be sent to PCEL.

5. This will cost approximately £550+vat, payable by the applicant.
